Details on the spatial positions

 

The spatial positions for the Fiber Cup have been selected. They consist in an image of labels (in NIFTI file format) where a voxel is set to an integer value (1, 2, 3, etc.) when it is selected and 0 otherwise. 16 voxels were selected for both 3x3x3 and 6x6x6 datasets. The integer value is the actual label of the fiber. When submitting results, fiber files should correspond to their label, e.g.:

  • file Fiber1.txt corresponds to voxel with label 1;
  • file Fiber2.txt corresponds to voxel with label 2;
  • file Fiber16.txt corresponds to voxel with label 16;

To make sure that the spatial positions chosen mean the same thing for you as it means for us, here is a couple of figures summarizing where they are and which label they have for both datasets.

For the 3x3x3 datasets (positions are on slice 1, i.e., the middle slice):

The colored voxels correspond to fiber seeds. Participants are asked to return a single fiber per seed.

Upon request, here is the list of the voxel coordinates of the seeds with their corresponding real world positions. Real world positions correspond to the voxel center:
